The Sound Healing Studio | Sound Bath Experiences, Crystal Bowls, Gongs & Training in Los Angeles

8 Days to Deepen Your Practice

Held in the heart of the Redwoods at Spirit Camp, this 8-day retreat brings together Level 1 through Level 3 sound healing training within a single, immersive container. Designed for those who have already begun their sound healing path, this retreat is an invitation to deepen:

Your presence.
Your technique.
Your creative expression.
Your capacity for being seen.
The Experience

Each day blends instruction, practice, and integration. You’ll learn to work with sound from the inside out: refining your awareness, cultivating relationships with instruments and sound itself, and embodying the skills to hold space with clarity and confidence.

Upon completion, participants receive Level 1–3 Certification from The Sound Healing Studio.

The Lion's Gate: Cross the Threshold

We begin on August 8 – 8/8 – the Lion’s Gate.

A time long associated with clarity, courage, and cosmic alignment. In many traditions, this portal marks a powerful opening: a moment to expand into new levels of purpose, visibility, and inner truth. What better threshold to cross as we begin this immersive 8-day journey?

Through daily sound immersion, deep listening, and nature-based integration, we align with something larger than ourselves – anchoring vision into embodiment, and insight into action. Each day builds intentionally on the last, with space for personal discovery, technical skill-building, and restorative connection.

Together we'll open the portal – then cross the threshold.

What Makes This Retreat Training Unique

We invite you beyond the basics of training and into a deep remembrance. Held in the sweeping stillness of the Redwoods, this 8-day retreat will guide you beyond sound healing technique and into your intuitive center, where your creative energy and expression can flourish.

We weave practical skill-building with immersive practice, inviting you to slow down, listen deeply, and lead from the potency of your presence. You’ll receive hands-on mentorship, real-time feedback, and space to explore your unique voice and medicine – all within a community grounded in compassion, curiosity, and real care.

Drum Making Workshop

* Optional add-on – but trust us, you are not going to want to miss this!

The drum is a timeless musical companion – its rhythm echoing the heartbeat of the Earth. Found in traditions across the world, the drum aids in healing, meditation, celebration, and prayer.

In this ceremony, Matt and Hillary Canale will guide you in crafting your own 16” elk hide hand drum using a unique tying technique. You’ll paint your frame, tie your drum, and create your mallet – step by step, in circle.

Creating your own drum is a meaningful initiation into relationship with a sound tool you’ll carry for years to come.

Cost: $333 (not included in base tuition)
